This season Jennifer Reina Photography teamed up with Ava Grey Photography to offer an amazing holiday mini session extravaganza! Ok, well maybe extravaganza is a bit much but when else am I going to get to use that word?! Rachel, the gal behind the camera at Ava Grey Photography specializes in natural light outdoor sessions, photographing children and families. I, as you know, am a studio photographer. So we thought – lets get together and offer our clients the best of both worlds!
Our Holiday Mini Sessions were just last weekend at a private location where we designed a fun yet elegant set for the studio, while outside, yes, outside in November in sunny Florida, we set up a cozy Christmas scene with the REAL Santa Claus! Our Santa works closely with both local and national charities and thanks to all our generous clients we raised a hefty monetary donation, as well as collected a huge box of toys for Santa to personally give to children this season.
These were quick 15 minute sessions (only about 6 minutes with each photographer) and included a few digital files. Perfect for an updated holiday portrait and Christmas Cards. But just because they were quick doesn’t mean they were lacking. We had a great time with each family and we got a lot of smiles, a few serious faces and even a tear or two. But you can see that for yourself, just take a look at all these adorable kids ready for the holiday! 
Some people question why photographers offer holiday sessions before Thanksgiving and start to advertise them in September. Well that’s easy to answer because it is important to plan ahead. Today is December 1st and all the children we photographed last week have their completed images in their hands, just in time to get those Christmas cards ordered.
